How can a coach make a difference?

Very few people would claim, like Alice, that they ‘don’t much care’ where they get to.

There are two main reasons why people come to coaching. Either they don’t like where they are but they’re not sure where else to go; or they know where they want to go, but feel blocked in some way. Finding direction and dealing with blockages are two key areas that often pave the way for other developments, such as:

• a more satisfying balance between your work and your personal life
• effective communication and successful relationships– at work and at home
• more effective decision-making and coping skills
• increased levels of energy, motivation and self-confidence
• adjusting to and feeling positive about your living environment and the context /culture you are part of
• a life that is compatible with your identity and values
